TAKE ACTION TO SAVE ASYLUM!

Join Rally and Take Action to #SaveAsylum!

January 2024 — Congress and the White House are going down a dangerous path. Over the past several months they have signaled they’re open to trading away the rights of immigrants as part of a funding deal. These proposals will almost certainly result in increased detention, more families separated, and survivors of gender-based violence sent back to face persecution and even death.

We can't let this stand! Join the Alliance for Immigrant Survivors and many concerned partners across the country for a Rally to #SaveAsylum at the U.S. Capitol and demand senators reject anti-immigrant proposals that would strip away asylum protections.

WHAT: #SaveAsylum Rally and Advocacy Day

WHEN: Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Rally begins at 12:00pm, followed immediately by advocacy meetings at Senate offices. There will also be an interfaith vigil prior to the rally from 10:30-11am.

WHERE: NEW LOCATION: Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St NE, Washington, DC 20003

TAKE ACTION! If you can’t join the D.C. rally, you can still raise your voice for immigrant survivors!

Take just two minutes to tell your members of Congress and the White House to walk away from any negotiations that would gut our asylum system, expand mandatory detention, and jump start a fast-track deportation program.
